First Month In Review of the Apple Vision Pros
March 15, 2024 • 44 MIN
Mike's impressions after using the Apple Vision Pros a month after release. Apple Vision Pros offer immersive experiences but are expensive at $4,000-$5,000 including taxes, and optional lenses and Apple Care. Meta Quest 3 is a cheaper alternative for gaming and sharing headsets. Apple Vision Pro is best for entertainment, not productivity at this time. Comfort and practicality issues with long-term use, especially for those with vision issues. MetaQuest 3 is lighter and more comfortable for gaming, but not ideal for those with less than perfect vision. Both devices have tracking challenges and discomfort issues, but offer unique experiences. Mike suggests waiting for improvements and more content before investing in Apple Vision Pro Uncertainty about storage capacity and waiting for more apps to be available.
